No bounds
EDMOND, Okla. -- Driving north on Kelly (or is it "Kelley"?) Avenue in Edmond this morning, I was hoping to get my oil changed at a locally-owned place. It was a crisp, autumn morning. Approximately 10:45 a.m. The Mighty Lemon Drops were playing on the stereo - "No Bounds," from their 1988 World Without End CD was blasting with a melancholy chime with lyrics that could be interpreted in a number of ways, including that of an alien abduction. " There's a thought in my head / It's sticking in my mind / I don't know what to look for / I know just what I'll find .. close your eyes, there are no bounds ..." (funny, as I am currently reading Dr. John C. Lilly's autobiography, which includes a lot about his wild experiences in sensory deprivation tanks).
